John Torrence Tate jr. (født 13. mars 1925, død 16. oktober 2019) var en amerikansk matematiker, kjent for mange fundamentale bidrag innenfor algebraisk tallteori og relaterte områder i algebraisk geometri. I 2010 vant han Abelprisen i matematikk.
