The presentation was part of the Commanders Speaker Series, which invites speakers with diverse viewpoints to the command to share ideas and thoughts. The retired Canadian lieutenant general focused on preventing mass atrocities through prevention. AFRICOMs strategy of helping to build capacity in its African partner nations in order to support peace and increased stability is a step in the right direction, he said. |
