English: 1942 photograph of carpenter at work on Douglas Dam, Tennessee (built by the Tennessee Valley Authority). Encyclopedic both as a document of carpentry during that era and as a historic example of early color photography. Supersaturation was popular in the United States during that era; a fine example of the aesthetics of its place and time.
Deutsch: Aufnahme aus dem Jahr 1942 von einem Zimmermann bei der Arbeit in Douglas Dam, Tennessee; sowohl als Beispiel der zeitgenössischen Zimmerei als auch Farbfotografie enzyklopädisch.
