Leo Victor Panitch (født 3. mai 1945 i Winnipeg i Manitoba i Canada, død 19. desember 2020 i Toronto) var en kanadisk filosof, redaktør, forfatter og statsviter.

Panitch var barn av en arbeiderfamilie, faren var jødisk immigrant fra Ukraina.[1]
Leo Panitch var professor ved York University. Fra 1985 var han medredaktør i Socialist Register. Han var en tilhenger av marxismen.
I 2013 ble han tildelt Isaac and Tamara Deutscher Memorial Prize.
Panitch døde 19. desember 2020 på et sykehus i Toronto i Ontario av lungebetennelse utløst av covid-19, i en alder av 75 år.[2] Han var blitt innlagt på sykehuset for kreftbehandling, og ble smittet av koronaviriuset der.
