Marius Barnard (1927–2014)[1] var en sørafrikansk hjertekirurg som også introduserte intensivmedisinsk helseforsikring.[2] Barnard var del av teamet broren Christiaan Barnard ledet og som i 1967 utførte verdens første hjertetransplantasjon.[1][3]
