'''HAL Dhruv''' (på [[sanskrit]]: ध्रुव-Dhruva, ellers: '''Polaris''') er et helikopter utviklet og bygget av [[India]]s [[Hindustan Aeronautics Limited]] (HAL). Utviklingen av Dhruv ble først kjent i november 1984 og konstruksjonen var et samarbeid med tyske MBB (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm). Helikopteret fløy første gang i 1992, men den videre utvikling ble forsinket av flere årsaker; krav fra det indiske flyvåpen, budsjettmessige forhold og sanksjoner etter at India fulgte [[Pokhran]]-II atomprøveprogrammet i 1988

Dhruv ble tatt i bruk i 2002. Den ble konstruert og bygget for å møte både militære og sivile krav. Den militære varianten ble utviklet for [[Indias forsvar]], mens den sivile variant med tanke på eksport. De militære versjoner brukes til transport, rekognosering og ambulanse. Basert på samme lest bygde HAL et lett kamphelikopter, (LCH og et lett "Utility Helicopter" (LUH) og et overvåkingshelikopter. Per august 2013 er mer enn 200 HAL Dhruv blitt byget for ulike kunder.
